Our thanks to Danielle Hart of New Leaf Digital for this call-to-action on behalf of the Space Apps Huntsville Organizing Team!
New Leaf Digital and the Greater Huntsville AIAA Section are calling all passionate problem solvers to Huntsville’s inaugural Space Apps Challenge on April 29th and 30th at Huntsville STEAM Works! Entry is free.
Interested in innovation, creation, business, storytelling, engineering, art, design and/or development? Please join us as Huntsville’s aerospace + creative + software communities unite to design, code, manufacture and assemble innovative “Earth Observation” themed space solutions in this 32-hour competition.
2017 is NASA’s sixth year hosting the global competition, in which 160+ cities worldwide participate. Huntsville competitors will be tackling the five official NASA challenges and seven community challenges.

The three divisions are high school, collegiate and open/professional. Participants may come as a part of a team or will be matched to one upon arrival. Teams are comprised of three to five members and often consist of individuals who hold or assume roles of: coder, designer, project manager, writer and engineer.
$10,000 and many other cool prizes await the winning teams! Check out the Space Apps HSV web page for more info and to register. Special thanks to the speakers, judges, ambassadors and sponsors.
Looking forward to seeing brilliant Huntsville brains collaborate to knock this global competition out of the atmosphere!
