Daniela Perallon is the face behind Arts Huntsville’s social media, marketing & PR efforts. Daniela is always looking for an opportunity to tweet, ‘gram, share and tell anyone who will listen about our city’s creative culture. She also relishes any chance to brainstorm dorky puns like Luna LoveGourd and Jack Black-O-Lantern, which didn’t make the final cut.
Gourd of the Rings, Jack-O-Green Lantern, PumpKing in the North, Captain Jean Luc PicGourd….
This Fall, Arts Huntsville is inviting you to let your imagination and creativity run wild in this year’s Pumpkin Patch competition in Downtown Huntsville. Think of it as Pumpkin Cosplay. Oh, and did we mention you could win up to $100 in cash prizes?
From October 14th – 31st, Arts Huntsville will put the community’s creativity on display in downtown Huntsville and let the public vote on their favorites.

Last year we were blown away by the community’s creativity. Take a look at these pumpkins from last year….talk about imagination!
Think you can top these? Sign up to participate in one of two categories:
Artist/Individual/Family/Student and Non-Profit/Business/Organization/Club, with first place in each category receiving $100, second place $75 and third $50. Voting will take place on artshuntsville.org with votes limited to one per email address.
Entry fees vary: $15 for students, $25 for artists, individuals, families and nonprofits, and $50 for for-profit businesses, organizations and clubs.
Deadline to sign up and drop off your pumpkin at the Arts Huntsville office is Tuesday, October 10th at 5pm.
